Lithodecor is happy to have been a part of the fourth architect @work in Zurich. The architect@work took place in Zurich from 11th to 12th May 2017. Architects and interior designers discussed current industry issues in seminars, found out more about textile in the context of architecture in the exposition, and learned more about the latest product innovations for the construction industry which were presented in the exhibition.

In the inspiring atmosphere of the architect@ work exhibition visitors could learn more about Lithodecor's innnovatvie Airtec product range: Our Airtec systems provide architects and planners with extraordinary facade designs flexibility made possible by the combination of a lightweight composite panel and stone, glass, ceramic or glass ceramic finish. This technology reduces the weight considerably and the special material properties allow the realisation of three-dimensional preformed units such as corners, angles U-Sections and overhangs to create monolithic ceramic and stone facades. The Airtec technology also allows the façades of listed buildings to be sympathetically restored.

Airtec Glass can be used to create beautiful and unique glass façades. There is no limit to design flexibility for glass facades since our ESG glass elements can be enhanced with digital printing or enamelling and all technically feasible RAL colours. The special effect of glass envelopes on façades is further enhanced by their degree of continuity – This is why Airtec Glass can also be installed on suspended ceilings, overhangs or projecting roofs. 

We are particularly pleased with the great interest shown at the architect@work in Zurich.
